ONLINE EXAM PORTAL

1. What is OEP?

OEP or Online Examination Portal "Pareekshak" has been developed by NADT RC Kolkata for simulated examinations for ITI ans ITO level and also for generating quizzes during the courses conducted by RCs and MSTUs

2. How to access online exam portal?

The user has to register on the portal after which the portal can be accessed through login. The detailed procedure is available on the SOP on home page under Notification ->User SOP

3. How many questions are there in this portal?

Around 4832 questions comprising of previous question papers and answers of departmental examinations for promotion to ITO and Inspectors are available on the portal.

4. What is the scheduled time for mock test?

The time depends on the number of questions chosen. There are options of 5/10/15 questions. Time given are 10/20/30 mins

5. Can we change the answer in case of mistake while giving mock test/scheduled examination?

Yes, Examinee can change answer through back button, After clicking the back button, one goes back to the relevant question after which the option button can be changed then the "save and next" button has to be clicked. The detailed procedure is available on the SOP on home page under Notification ->User SOP

6. After taking mock test how do we know the result?

We have to click on the Examination menu available on the right side of the user page and click Mock test Exam Result. As per paper and exam date Examinee can view the result. The detailed procedure is available on the SOP on home page under Notification User SOP

7. How to register for scheduled examination?

The user comes to know of the examination through notification from the Exam Organizer available on the top right corner of the home page. Then the user clicks on the 'Examination menu', available on the right side of the page, a button for 'Register for exam' is available where the details of the scheduled exam generated by Examination organizer is available. The user has to click on 'Register for schedule exam' to register. After which the exam may be on the scheduled date and time. The detailed procedure is available on the SOP on home page under Notification ->User SOP

8. How and when do we get results after taking scheduled examinations.

After the examination the examinee can view current or previous examination results from 'View done paper' and 'Marksheet' button under 'Examination' menu available on the right side of the page The detailed procedure is available on the SOP on home page under Notification ->User SOP
